Maintenance Director
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Brandywine Living.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our senior living residences, ensuring that they remain safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of building systems, including boilers, compressors, generators, mechanical, electronic, and plumbing systems.
- Supervision of maintenance staff and coordination of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Implementation of preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Advanced technical certificate/trade desirable (e.g. HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical certificate).
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in building maintenance.
- Compassionate, patient, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flu vaccination during flu season.
