Housekeeping Associate

This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of resident's apartments and common areas as assigned by the Maintenance Director. The shift will be Sunday through Thursday from 11am - 7pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Housekeeping services to our residents in their apartments by completing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
• Keep shared community areas clean by removing trash, vacuuming, disinfecting, etc.
• Handle and store all cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations
• Report any maintenance and safety issues immediately
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience preferred
• Dependable and responsible
• Ability to communicate and engage with residents
• Able to stand for long period
• Able to lift or carry weight in up to 50lbs
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
