DESCRIPTION:
Brandywine Community Schools Food Service Department is seeking a Cooks Helper Substitute. This position is responsible for working closely with the Food Service Director to prepare meals in accordance with the federal, state and school standards, guidelines and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures quality food service is provided at all times
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student matters
- Ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities
- Ability to communicate in both oral and written directions and instructions
- Ability to develop professional working relationships with staff, parents, students, and community members
- Ability to work as a team with others
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Candidate must agree to authorize Brandywine Community Schools to conduct a criminal history search via fingerprinting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to varying schedules
- Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
