Summary/Objective
The Plant Administrative Assistant will support the BRANDT Agronomic Services, LLC in various functions including data analysis, processing customer orders, billing and other day-to-day tasks of the location. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the specific location. The administrative assistant may be responsible for confidential and time sensitive material and must be familiar with a variety of agricultural concepts, practices and procedures.
The Plant Administrative Assistant will report to the Plant Manager of Williamsville and work closely with the team at that location.
Essential Functions
- Analyze data from Agvance then generate reports and presentations
- Ability to compile data into Excel for analysis
- Coordinate payroll related data
- Manage CDL files at specific location
- Maintain office supplies and monitor ordering levels
- Provide excellent customer service to walk-in traffic and via phone.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, copying, and filing.
- Ability to be a backup for fertilizer, seed & chemical orders.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
- Perform data entry, customer invoicing, and inventory receiving
- Assist with inventory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
Professional office environment. This position requires competency in using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Classification/Expected Hours of Employment
This position is a full time position and is non-exempt and will follow all federal and all applicable state or local laws. Days and hours of work are generally 7:30am to 4:30pm, with some extended hours needed as seasonal demands may vary.

Required Education and Experience
- Associates Degree
- 2-4 years of administrative assistant experience
- Intermediate computer and software skills required.
- Knowledge of agricultural terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Pay Range: $20 - $24 an hour
