Position Summary
The Scaffold Material Handler is responsible for supporting scaffold operations by loading, unloading, organizing, and transporting scaffolding materials. This entry-level role plays a key part in ensuring materials are safely and efficiently handled to support project timelines and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload scaffold materials from trucks and storage areas
- Organize, stage, and track inventory of scaffold components
- Assist with the delivery and pickup of materials at job sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and work environment
- Inspect materials for damage and report issues as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of general labor, warehouse, or material handling experience (preferred but not required)
- Forklift experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
- Basic knowledge of material handling and warehouse operations
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Outdoor yard and warehouse setting
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and industrial environments
- Physical work including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
