Duties
- Safely ascend trees using rigging techniques and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks.
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently.
- Implement tree care practices including trimming, shaping, and health assessments to promote growth and safety.
- Conduct rigging procedures for the safe removal of branches or entire trees, ensuring minimal impact on surroundings.
Qualifications
- Proven growing experience in horticulture or arboriculture with a strong understanding of tree care principles.
- Ability to climb trees safely using rigging techniques and appropriate safety gear.
- Experience operating bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment for elevated work tasks.
- Strong understanding of tree trimming standards, tree health assessment, and general horticultural practices.
