Brandon Residential Treatment Center is seeking caring, dependable Residential Counselors to support boys and young men in a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment. You’ll play a key role in daily routines, emotional support, and life skill development.
Position Responsibilities:
•Build positive, supportive relationships with youth using a strength-based approach.
•Supervise and engage residents in daily routines, life skills, and recreational activities.
•Support meal prep, cleaning, and laundry to maintain a safe, home-like setting.
•Facilitate social and life skills groups.
•Administer medications (MAP certification required, training provided).
•Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications
•High school diploma required.
•Minimum one year experience working in human services/ mental health field preferred.
•Must have a valid ID and CORI/ DCF background check.
•Able to participate in physical interventions.
•MAP certified a plus.
Schedule:
2nd Shift Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday
Salary:
Starting at $18.00/ hour
w/ MAP Certification: $21.00/ hour
