Brandon Residential Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behavioral Specialist to support boys and young men in a structured, trauma-informed school and residential setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll build meaningful relationships, promote emotional regulation, and help students develop critical life skills for long-term success. Essential Responsibilities: Build supportive, developmentally appropriate relationships with students Implement behavior plans and interventions aligned with CARE and TCI models Provide active supervision and emotional support during daily activities Assist with self-care, social skills, and crisis de-escalation Collaborate with clinical, educational, and residential staff Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing training Support students during morning transitions before school Qualifications: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred Minimum of one year experience working w/ youth 8-18 years old Valid ID and CORI/DCF background check Able to participate in physical interventions Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM - 3 PM Benefits: $1,000 Referral Bonus Health, Dental and Vision Insurance 403B Retirement Plan options with company match Fitness Reimbursement Undergraduate Tuition Remission Graduate Tuition Reimbursement 11 Paid Holidays 19 Days PTO Employer Paid Life Insurance & LTD Flexible Schedule Health Flexible Spending Account Dependent Care FSA Paid Orientation & Trainings Parental Leave Mileage Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Free breakfast, lunch and parking for all employees!
