Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to support the modernization of a legacy PowerBuilder application into a scalable, web-based solution using ASP.NET MVC. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze existing systems, extract business logic, and rebuild functionality using modern technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert existing PowerBuilder modules into ASP.NET MVC-based web applications
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and define system design
- Extract and translate business logic from legacy Oracle packages and stored procedures
- Develop and maintain complex VB.NET components
- Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and triggers
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and code optimization
- Work closely with Technical Leads, Architects, and Project Managers throughout the development lifecycle
