Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Audio Visual Technician, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining AV equipment for various events. Core tasks include managing audio systems, video conferencing setups, projectors, and lighting equipment, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues during events. The technician will coordinate closely with the production team to ensure seamless event execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including setup, operation, and maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues during live events
- Experience with Video Conferencing systems and technologies
- Knowledge of Lighting and Projector equipment setup and usage
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under time constraints
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with event production processes and practices is a plus
- Relevant certifications or training in AV technologies will be considered highly advantageous
