Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Orthopaedic Upper Extremity Specialist

Primary duties include:

• Surgical First Assist
• Hospital Rounding
• Office / clinic patient evaluations and education
• Run concurrent and/or independent clinic
• Give therapeutic injections
• Refer for diagnostic treatment/tests
• Evaluate x-ray, CT scan and MRI
• Review lab results
• Casting and splinting in clinic setting
• Write scripts
• Dictation
• Computer literate and ability to use EHR
• Call (every 7-8 weeks)

Successful candidate must be NCCPA or CRNP/FNP certified. Candidate needs to be an independent thinker, self confident, organized, hard working and able to work well with others in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with excellent interpersonal skills. Three years previous orthopedic experience preferred.
