As a Server in the Independent Living Community at Brandermill Woods, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our residents and their guests. Your primary responsibilities include courteously and professionally serving meals in the dining rooms, maintaining a neat and orderly work environment, and setting up and breaking down dining rooms before and after meals. This position is essential in fostering positive public relations for Brandermill Woods due to the direct and meaningful interactions with residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous and professional service to residents and their guests during meal times.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Set up dining rooms before meals and break down after meals.
• Engage with residents and guests in a positive, respectful, and friendly manner.
• Uphold and promote the philosophy and values of Brandermill Woods.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across all levels.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn and master the art of serving.
• Strong positive attitude towards customer service.
• Genuine interest in geriatric care and commitment to the community's philosophy.
• Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents, their families, and colleagues.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods and over varying distances.
• Ability to lift and/or carry objects exceeding 25 pounds.
