What You will Do
As our Workday Integrations and Applications Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing Workday solutions that power the university’s operations. Your work will include:
Integration & Application Development (60%)
- Designing, developing, and maintaining integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services (SOAP/REST), Extend, and more
- Partnering with HR, Finance, and Student teams to translate business needs into smart, scalable technical solutions
- Testing and deploying integrations to ensure accuracy, reliability, and smooth adoption of new Workday features
- Documenting technical designs, test scripts, and troubleshooting procedures for long-term sustainability
Workday Operations (40%)
- Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations to keep them running at peak performance
- Ensuring data security and compliance standards are met
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to align solutions with strategic goals
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to partner effectively across the university.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Workday Expertise: 2 years as a Workday Developer (3–5 years in IT overall), with proven success building reports, Studio Integrations, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Web Services. Experience with Workday Extend and certifications are a big plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong grasp of SDLC, testing, and requirements gathering. Agile familiarity preferred. Boomi experience is a bonus.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a knack for troubleshooting and creative solution design.
- Collaboration: Strong communicator who can translate complex technical ideas into clear language for business partners.
- Higher Ed Insight: Understanding of higher education processes is preferred, but not required.
