Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA for a Junior Designer. The Junior Designer will assist in creating and refining visual designs for ecommerce-focused web pages while adhering to client branding and user experience strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming design concepts, developing wireframes and mockups, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and iterating designs based on feedback. The Junior Designer will contribute to both creative and technical aspects of projects to meet deliverable deadlines effectively. This role reports to the Creative Director.
What We're Looking For
- Strong visual design skills, including a solid grasp of color theory, typography, and layout principles.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
- Understanding of some UX/UI principles (for landing pages) and familiarity with creating Hi-Fi wireframes in Figma.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a small team and adapt to constructive feedback.
- Time management and organizational skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset and a focus on delivering high-quality designs that are not only visually appealing but also convert.
- We value talent over degrees, so a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field may help but is not required.
- A design portfolio is required.
- Experience with ecommerce design or DTC brands is a plus.
