About The Role
The embroidery operator accurately decorates items in adherence to Brand Junkie quality standards while maintaining consistent production goals.
What You'll Do
- Operates embroidery machinery following all safety protocols.
- Reviews all paperwork to accurately decorate items – any decoration/paperwork questions should be addressed with supervisor prior to starting an order.
- Adjusts thread colors, needles, and regulates machine settings to ensure quality standards are preserved.
- Carefully hoop and position items on machine during decoration process to prevent damages.
- Observes decoration process to detect defects in embroidery application indicating malfunction.
- Communicates all machine malfunctions to supervisor. May repair defective embroidery left by machine only when approved by supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Complies with all company standards as outlined in employee handbook.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Prior experience operating embroidery machinery or working in a textile/garment production environment required.
- Familiarity with embroidery techniques, thread types, and machine settings is a plus.
- Ability to operate embroidery machinery safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
- Capable of adjusting thread colors, needles, and machine settings to meet quality standards.
- May perform minor repairs on defective embroidery with supervisor approval; maintains clean and organized work area.
- Effectively communicates with supervisors regarding machine issues, decoration questions, or production concerns.
