The Caribou Club is seeking a dedicated and creative Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for pastry who wants to work in an upscale, fast-paced environment where quality, presentation, and consistency are essential. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and eager to contribute to a collaborative kitchen.
Key responsibilities include preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the highest standards; following established recipes and production schedules; maintaining strict sanitation and food safety practices; and assisting with plating and pastry station setup for events and daily service. You will work closely with our Executive Pastry Chef, Johanna Medaglia.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of professional pastry experience required.
- Availability: Flexible schedule with willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events.
- Attitude: Positive, team-oriented, and dependable approach to daily responsibilities.
- Skills: Comfortable with basic pastry techniques, lamination, dough handling, tempering chocolate, and working with both sweet and savory pastry items.
