We are seeking a BIM Technician with at least two (2) years of experience to support our engineering and design teams. This role will focus on developing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for architectural and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Revit and be detail-oriented in executing design documentation. This position will be primarily in-office for team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models for architectural and engineering projects from Concept and Engineer’s redlines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and coordinated BIM deliverables.
  • Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software to create detailed 3D models and construction documentation.
  • Assist in implementing BIM standards and best practices across projects.
  • Support coordination efforts between disciplines, including architecture, structural, MEP, and sustainability teams.
  • Troubleshoot BIM-related issues and provide technical support to project teams.
  • Participate in model reviews and clash detection processes.



Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM modeling within an architectural, engineering, or construction firm.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
  • Prior exposure to HVAC, Hydronic, Plumbing, Electrical, or Technology systems design, with a drive to learn new discipline basics/drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication, positive feedback skills, and personal organization.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard BIM workflows, construction documentation practices, and model coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • This position requires work authorization.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of HVAC and Hydronic systems design principles.
  • Basic understanding of Green Building standards (LEED, WELL, Living Building Challenge) and how BIM supports sustainability goals.
  • Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, Revit or other BIM-related software is a plus.
  • Autodesk Certified User certification for Revit or AutoCAD.
