What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Service Staff position at Branch Out Foods?
Branch Out is a fast-casual restaurant featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and globally inspired flavors. Our kitchen is entirely plant-based and gluten-free, and we proudly serve guests from all backgrounds. You do not need to follow a plant-based or gluten-free lifestyle to be part of our team — we welcome everyone.
Front of House responsibilities may include:
- Greeting and assisting guests at the counter
- Operating the Square POS system
- Answering phone calls and taking orders
- Delivering food to tables and assisting guests as needed
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping
- Answering menu questions and providing excellent customer service
Because we are a small, team-focused environment, adaptability and a willingness to help where needed are very important.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay ranges from $10 – $12, based on experience
- Additional pooled tips averaging $3 – $5 per hour
- Employee food discounts and/or shift meals, depending on hours worked
- Tips are distributed weekly based on total hours worked
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Reliable transportation is required
- Opportunity for growth, with potential to move into a full-time position
