Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

This role acts as the main point of contact for our customers in the tile and stone industry, primarily contractors. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages projects in part from quote entry through delivery of goods. This includes, but not limited to, pricing for contractor bids, ordering materials specified for projects, ensuring payment is received according to company policy and following up on open orders through delivery of all materials. Our aim is to build strong, professional relationships with our customers by delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manages projects in part from either quote entry or ordering

• Fostering and sustaining strong connections with Sales Representatives, internal teams, and customers directly.

• Engage in effective and dynamic two-way communication with management.

• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales Representatives, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Transportation, to source and ensure timely delivery of materials to customers within company lead times.

• Create, update and maintain accurate records within SAP.

• Input documents with accurate products, quantities, pricing and sourcing

• Effectively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues, escalating as necessary to ensure a timely and satisfactory resolution while maintaining a positive customer experience.

• Deliver outstanding customer service through the Cisco Finesse (or other designated) call center program.

• Maintain open and timely communication with teammates via Microsoft Teams and Webex (or other designated programs).

• Respond to all customer communications (internal and external) promptly.

• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills

• Basic computer proficiency

• Previous experience in flooring, construction, hospitality, retail industry and/or distribution preferred

• Associates degree or higher preferred

• Knowledge of SAP Business One preferred

This position requires specific vision abilities, including both close and distance vision. While performing job duties, the Customer Service Representative must be able to remain stationary, with occasional movement around the office. The role also requires frequent use of fingers and hands for data entry. A significant amount of time is spent at a desk using a computer and phone. Some job-related stress may occur, and extended work hours may be necessary
