Position Summary
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components using work instructions, blueprints, and schematics while meeting quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components following detailed instructions and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment (including overhead cranes)
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards
- Identify and report defects or issues during assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting when needed
✅ Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills are a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Lift and move 25–35 lbs
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Work Environment
- Clean, controlled manufacturing facility
- Work around machinery and production equipment
- PPE required (steel-toe boots & safety glasses)
