Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. The Reach Truck Operator will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and store products throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a reach truck and other warehouse equipment as assigned.
- Load and unload products from trailers, racks, and designated storage areas.
- Move and stage pallets throughout the warehouse.
- Safely place and retrieve pallets from elevated warehouse racking.
- Perform put-away, replenishment, picking, and material-handling duties.
- Verify product quantities, labels, and pallet information for accuracy.
- Inspect equipment before and after use and report any mechanical or safety issues.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Use RF scanners, tablets, or warehouse management systems to track inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts and product location verification.
- Safely maneuver equipment in tight spaces and around pedestrians.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other warehouse team members.
- Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
