Job Overview
Brancato Snow & Ice Management is a leader in airport snow removal services. We currently have openings at ALB-Albany International Airport and are hiring experienced equipment operators (skid steers, wheel loaders, pick-up trucks) for the upcoming winter season.
We are seeking reliable candidates with strong equipment/operation skills, ideally with a construction or heavy equipment background. As a Snow Equipment Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining safe ramps and terminal gate areas duringwinterweather events.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and skid steers safely and efficiently
- Clear snow and ice from airport ramps and terminal gate areas
- Follow all safety rules, airport protocols, and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members during snow events
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass airport security clearance and background check
- Previous snow removal or heavy equipment experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided
- On-call availability November through April: Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays when wintry weather exists
