What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Body and Equipment Technician position at Brake & Clutch, Inc.?
Brake & Clutch is looking for an experienced, full-time truck body and equipment technician in our Ipswich location.
We are a full-line truck equipment distributor specializing in vehicle-mounted snow plows, ice control equipment, truck bodies and mobile hydraulics. We are a growing, family-owned business that invests in our employees through generous benefits and training. We always have a wide variety of work.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble and install truck bodies, equipment and accessories on light duty trucks.
• Assemble and install snow plows on light duty trucks.
Qualifications:
• Truck body and equipment installation experience.
• Welding / cutting experience, preferred.
• Must have some basic mechanic hand tools.
• Working vehicle knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and follow detailed written instructions.
• Able to lift and move approximately 35 pounds, with appropriate assistance.
Salary : $30 - $40
