Network and Security Admin JD:-
• Strong Hand on Experience in Checkpoint, CISCO & Juniper SRX Firewall
• In Depth Knowledge and experience of maintaining Switched Ethernet WAN connectivity types (internal and External) for different sites and services.
• In depth Knowledge and high level experience of maintaining of LAN & WAN optimization services.
• In depth knowledge in Network access control solutions
• A high level of competency in the network managed environment especially understanding and implementing voice, data.
• Ability to evaluate, implement and manage data communications infrastructure, Internet and Intranet infrastructure, WAN, LAN and wireless networks and network applications.
• Knowledge and understanding of DNS, DHCP.
• Strong understanding and extensive experience with Network protocols /services/technologies like TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, IP Sec, NAT
• Hands on experience required in building Site to Site Tunnels, access controls policy, remote access vpn troubleshooting and single sign on integrations
• Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use.
• Knowledge in Web application firewall Policy configuration
• Experience in Web content filtering policy management
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation.
• Establish service level agreements with end users.
• Provides “ownership” of problem thru final resolution.
• Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization’s network.
• Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development.
• Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
• Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on.
• Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
• Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent network activities.
• Direct and administrate a contingent of network analysts and technicians, and where necessary, conduct performance reviews and corrective action.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Experience in a LAN/WAN and multi-platform environment including Juniper Routers, multilayer switches, Cisco & Juniper products, ASA, Citrix or F5 Load balancers and Intrusion Detection systems is a MUST.
• Experience in Command Center/ Network Operations Center is a big plus.
• Experience with Network documentation and monitoring tools such as Visio, Solar winds, PRTG, Sniffer.
• Should be able to recommend adjustments to a wide variety of complex network management functions with responsibility for overall performance and availability of Networks.
• Perform activities related to install, configure and managing SAN devices and fiber switches. Execute FC zoning for development and production storage volumes.
• Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
• Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
• Define and document best practices and support procedures
• Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
• Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation Certifications Requirement CCNP / JNCIP-SP
