What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bulletin 2087 Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the Braintree Public Schools position at Braintree Public Schools?
The Braintree Public Schools is seeking to hire a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate will have a special education license and experience working with a variety of students.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Work with the students we serve and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document a range of behavior challenges
- Determine specific behavior problems or social adjustment difficulties of students and recommend interventions.
- Draft and implement behavior plans and individual crisis management plans
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments
- Assist administrators, teachers and staff in implementing plans and using appropriate behavioral strategies and interventions
- Administer appropriate and necessary testing
- Participate in conference, evaluations, and IEP meetings as appropriate
- Prepare progress reports and evaluations
- Work with parents and apprise them of problems and progress
- Keep abreast of developments in the field.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
- Masters Degree and DESE licensure preferred and experience as a Special Education Teacher and/or BCBA preferred, ideally in a diverse public school setting.
- Experience developing behavior plans and crisis management plans
- Knowledge of Safety Care preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
- A commitment to collaboration in support of all students learning and development
- Competent with technology, including Google Suite
- Valid driver’s license
Salary : $91,900 - $116,000
