The Elementary Music Specialist K-5 position requires Massachusetts Licensure in K-5 Music Education. The job is a part-time 0.4 position at Hollis Elementary School in Braintree. Instruction will include general music lessons with emphasis on appropriate vocal technique, music notation reading and writing, recorder and ukulele units, choral performances, etc. Teacher will need to have good time management skills and strong interpersonal skills to work with teachers and principals in three different buildings. The teacher will be provided a music mentor for his/her first year of teaching.
