About the Position This role includes responsibility for a homeroom classroom, mathematics instruction for students in Grades 1–3 utilizing the Bridges in Mathematics curriculum (coaching available), and science/social studies instruction that incorporates authentic reading and writing experiences. Our instructional model emphasizes collaboration, responsiveness, and meeting the needs of the whole child. Students participate in a daily "What I Need" (WIN) block, where targeted intervention and enrichment are provided in partnership with an Academic Interventionist. Teachers also work closely with colleagues, specialists, and instructional coaches to strengthen teaching practices and improve student outcomes. Qualifications * Valid teaching certification in Elementary Education (or eligibility for licensure). * Knowledge of child development and effective elementary instructional practices. * Experience with, or willingness to learn, the Bridges in Mathematics curriculum. * Experience with, or commitment to implementing, Responsive Classroom practices. * Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. * Commitment to equity, inclusion, and meeting the needs of all learners.
