Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for Compliance Screening Platform Engineer - FIRCO.
Permanent position with competitive compensation package (base range is 160-175K), excellent benefits, and target bonus.
Must be 2/3 days per week in New York City Office.
This role emphasizes deep technical expertise in FIRCO, Prime Compliance Manager, and Quantexa, and requires a proactive approach to modernizing legacy systems into agile, cloud-native solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that screening technologies are robust, scalable, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on implementation and optimization of compliance screening platforms including FIRCO, Prime Compliance Manager, and Quantexa
- Collaborate with architecture teams to design scalable cloud-native solutions for screening technologies
- Develop and execute integration strategies across partner systems and data platforms
- Ensure screening platforms meet AML, KYC, and sanctions compliance requirements
- Work with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to align technology capabilities with regulatory needs
- Provide technical leadership in system upgrades, API integrations, and data pipeline enhancements
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices in screening technology deployment
- Support vendor evaluations and contribute to platform selection decisions
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of hands-on experience with compliance screening technologies including FIRCO, Prime Compliance Manager, and Quantexa
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (Azure strongly preferred) and hybrid deployment models
- Strong programming and scripting skills for system integration and automation
- Experience with data platforms such as DataBricks and Snowflake
- Deep understanding of financial services compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Cloud architecture certifications (Azure strongly preferred)
- Experience with regulatory reporting systems and API management
- Background in system performance tuning and data quality assurance
