Job Description:

Brains & Motion Education is seeking an experienced Holiday Camp Site Lead to oversee operations and ensure smooth and memorable experiences for students and staff during our seasonal holiday camps.

As a Site Lead, you will manage camp logistics, support instructors, and act as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and staff. You will play a vital role in creating a fun, safe, and inspiring camp environment while ensuring adherence to BAM!’s high-quality standards.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise and support a team of 3-5 instructors, ensuring effective delivery of camp activities and curricula.
• Oversee daily camp operations, including setup, transitions, and clean-up.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries and providing updates as needed.
• Monitor camper attendance, safety, and well-being, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
• Address and resolve conflicts or issues that arise with campers or staff, escalating as needed.
• Ensure adherence to BAM!’s policies, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
• Communicate regularly with the Program Manager regarding camp updates, challenges, and successes.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a camp, after-school, or education leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, with strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, campers, and parents.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with children in grades TK-8.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry ~20-50 lbs. on an occasional basis with or without accommodations.
• Background check required.

Details:

• Wage: $ 27.00/hour
• Job Type: Part-Time
• Availability: April 6–10, for approximately 5–8 hours per day, scheduled anytime between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

Salary : $27
