Medical Doctor Roles
Nevada Medicaid and Medicare Credentialed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and Treatment:
Analyzing symptoms, conducting examinations, and ordering or performing diagnostic tests to determine the nature of illnesses or injuries.
- Prescribing and Administering Treatments:
Developing and implementing treatment plans, which may include medications, therapies, or surgical procedures.
- Patient Education:
Counseling patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle choices to promote well-being.
- Referrals:
Recommending patients to specialists for further evaluation or treatment when necessary.
- Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records of patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
- Collaboration:
Working with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, specialists, and other physicians, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Staying Current:
Continuously learning about new medical advancements, technologies, and best practices.
