We are actively seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to join their team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer with deep expertise in SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) to drive advances in perception, sensor fusion, and sensor calibration—directly impacting our business growth. As our business expands, your focus on SLAM and related technologies will ensure our products excel in ever-changing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SLAM development to improve product quality and consistency, especially in challenging GPS-degraded environments.
• Enhance sensor fusion and calibration by integrating multi-user, multi-session point cloud maps and automating LiDAR and imagery alignment for robust, large-scale scene generation.
• Drive scalability and reliability by reducing field extrinsic sensor measurements and proactively managing data quality.
• Collaborate with a high-caliber team of robotics and enterprise software experts to revolutionize fieldwork in the energy sector.
• Develop and implement perception solutions with a focus on LiDAR, sensor fusion, and advanced SLAM mapping.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience specifically in SLAM and perception/mapping in robotics.
• Proven background working on mobile platforms (e.g., cars, drones, robots) performing large-scale mapping with LiDAR and other sensors.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with systems integration — understanding how cameras, sensors, vehicles, and perception software combine to deliver robust SLAM solutions.
• Strong history of working in small, agile teams that deliver results quickly.

Technical Skills:

• Expert proficiency in SLAM solutions, including ground-based LiDAR and sensor calibration (intrinsic and extrinsic), with automated, data-driven approaches.
• Proficient in multimodal sensor fusion and working with ultra-wide-angle cameras.
• Advanced programming ability in C and Python.
