Guest Services Agent — Front Desk


Dual-brand hotel located in Alexandria, VA
Full-time all shifts including nights & weekends

You'll be the face of our dual-brand hotel operation — managing every stage of the guest journey from check-in to check-out.
This position plays a direct role in our guest satisfaction scores (GSS/OSAT) and the smooth day-to-day flow of both properties.

What you'll do:
  • Welcome guests warmly and complete efficient check-in and check-out processes
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly; perform service recovery when needed
  • Input, modify, and manage reservations in the PMS accurately — rate codes, room types, special requests
  • Process payments, balance cash drawer, and complete shift audit responsibilities
  • Ensure folios are accurate; handle direct billing and third-party reservation billing correctly
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management on room status, arrivals, and departures
  • Log guest requests and issues; ensure clean shift handoff through logs and reports
  • Support lobby upkeep and breakfast
  • Follow all safety, security, and brand standards procedures
What we're looking for:
  • Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with hotel PMS systems and standard computer use
  • Reliable attendance; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods; occasional light lifting up to 40 lbs
