Overtime Status: Non- Exempt

Braen Stone Industries, the leading supplier of construction materials including stone, sand, asphalt, septic materials, recycled materials and agricultural limestone, is currently seeking a Night Shift Laborer/Equipment Operator to join our Franklin quarry team.

This position may be subjected to seasonal layoffs. This is considered a safety- sensitive position subjected to the Company's Controlled Substance and Alcohol Policy.

We are a safety minded company and expect the successful candidate to be as well. This position is hourly, non-exempt from overtime. Overtime is paid after 8 hours are worked each day. Hours of work are will vary. After a probationary period of sixty (60) days, the employee will be required to join Local #472. Medical/Dental/Vision benefits are provided through Local #472.

Expectations/ Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Position is tasked with cleaning up around the plants using various tools to include a shovel and a rake
• Experience in operating equipment including various CAT fleet
• General quarry and maintenance/welding experience preferred
• Candidate will also be cross trained to operate equipment and the existing plants
• Smaller powered equipment similar to a skid steer may be used at times
• Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks
  Operate a variety of hand tools

Required Knowledge/Skills/Aptitudes:

• Ability to establish effective working relationships with fellow employees and supervisors
  Must be safety minded

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Hours are generally 4:00pm to 4:00am, Monday through Friday
• Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions
  This is a full-time position based in Franklin, NJ.

Physical Demands:

• Candidate should be mechanically inclined and able to successfully climb steps and perform manual activity for long periods of a time
• Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions
• Exposure to high levels of noise, dust and associated surroundings to the quarry field
• Constant physical effort, manual demands including standing for long periods of a time, stooping, bending, crouching
• Ability to lift/carry at least 50 pounds unassisted
  Repetitive lifting, pulling of large objects

Pay: $23.90- $24.90/ hour
