Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Recreation Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and creating engaging recreational activities.
Duties
- Organize and lead recreational activities for seniors
- Programs promote physical activity and social interaction
- Supervise and ensure the safety of all participants during recreational activities
- Assist in planning and coordinating special events and outings
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, basic math skills
- Ability to provide activities that meet physical, mental and psychosocial needs of the resident
- Ability to maintain productivity in a busy environment
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- The ability to take direction and learn required program activities
Pay: $16.20 - $17.40 per hour
