Description & Requirements
We are in search of a Transportation Coordinator that is responsible for coordinating our transportation needs and ensuring that our vehicles are properly maintained while adhering to regulations and budgets.
Responsibilities Include
- Monitors communications between vehicle drivers and transportation office .
- Prepares accident and injury reports ina timelyand efficient manner
- Assigns all extra routes usingappropriate guidelinesasdeterminedby the collective bargaining agreement.
- Manage and coordinate the dispatching of vehicles and equipment.
- Manage andmaintaindriver and vehicle records.
- Serve as key point of contact between drivers and customer service.
- Must be flexible with schedule.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in transportation or related fields .
- Communication skills to deliver clear instructions and relay information in a fast-paced environment.
- Functional knowledge in Supply Chain.
- Deadline-oriented.
- Problem solving.
- Continuous Improvement mindset.
- Ability to physically sit at a desk forlong periods,operatea computer
