This role will be responsible for supporting customer accounts, generating sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service through phone, email, and digital communication channels. This position works closely with outside sales representatives, operations, and customer service teams to provide customized corrugated packaging, specialty cartons, and shipping solutions to customers across a variety of industries. The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in managing customer relationships, preparing quotations, processing orders, and supporting overall sales growth.

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in managing customer relationships, preparing quotations, processing orders, and supporting overall sales growth.
Responsibilities Include
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and responsive customer support.
- Process customer inquiries, quotations, orders, and follow-up communications accurately and efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell packaging products and customized solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, lead follow-up, and prospecting activities.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Prepare pricing quotes, product recommendations, and sales documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and pipeline updates within company CRM and ERP systems.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Maintain knowledge of company products, packaging solutions, and industry trends.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals, customer retention objectives, and performance expectations.
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience preferred.
- Packaging, corrugated, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution industry experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems, and ERP/order entry systems.
- Basic math and pricing calculation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and independently when needed.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and frequently use standard office equipment including computers and phones.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry product samples or office materials up to 25 lbs.
