What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adventure Guide position at Brady Yaks Tours?
Adventure Guides are responsible for safely leading guests on guided kayak tours while providing a fun, educational, and memorable experience. Guides represent the Brady Yaks brand both on and off the water and are expected to maintain professionalism, strong communication, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead guided kayak eco tours and bioluminescence tours
- Assist guests with check-in, waiver completion, and paddle instruction
- Educate guests about local wildlife, ecology, conservation, and Space Coast history
- Maintain guest safety at all times on and off the water
- Load, unload, clean, and organize kayaks and equipment
- Monitor weather and water conditions before and during tours
- Assist with launch setup and breakdown
- Help guests enter and exit kayaks safely
- Handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Take group photos and help create positive guest experiences
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to work outdoors in Florida conditions
