We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, drywall installation, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Apply paint, stains, coatings, and finishes using various techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and construction spray), and the use of paint sprayers and power tools
• Execute structural painting tasks on buildings' frameworks, fixtures, masonry surfaces, stucco, and other structural elements with precision and attention to detail
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to accurately execute projects according to design requirements
• Conduct surface inspections using visual color comparison tools to ensure color consistency and quality standards are met throughout the project
• Follow safety regulations rigorously by utilizing respiratory protection equipment, adhering to safety protocols on construction sites, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Assist with renovation projects by installing fixtures, repairing drywall or plaster damage, applying caulking or sealants, and performing general handyman tasks as needed

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects
• Strong understanding of color theory for achieving desired aesthetic effects
• Proven experience in residential painting as well as commercial and industrial applications
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, spray equipment (including construction spray painting), and surface preparation tools
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately
• Familiarity with safety regulations specific to construction painting environments including respiratory protection protocols
• Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as sanding, cleaning, priming, drywall repair, stucco application, masonry work, and plastering
• Experience with fixture installation and basic remodeling or maintenance tasks on construction sites
• Good physical condition with the ability to use ladders safely for elevated work tasks
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses or surface areas
• Knowledge of coating types suitable for different surfaces and environments
