Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position located in Leander, TX, for an After School Counselor at Brady's Bridge. The After School Counselor will be responsible for supervising and engaging children in structured activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Daily responsibilities include implementing age-appropriate activities, overseeing play and learning tasks, supporting children with special needs, and collaborating with team members and families to ensure quality care and individualized attention.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively engaging with children, families, and staff
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to provide individualized care
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is highly valued
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in child development preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification
