As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in helping service an existing book of business, building new client relationships, and helping businesses make informed risk management decisions. Your role will be essential in driving success for our clients and organization alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service a diverse portfolio of existing clients alongside Advisors.
- Develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers and executives.
- Act as a trusted Risk Manager for mid-size businesses, tailoring insurance solutions to meet their needs.
- Conduct insurance policy reviews, suggest updates, and ensure timely renewals.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling insurance and risk management products.
- Collaborate in sales strategy meetings to contribute to growth initiatives.
- 5 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and/or as a commercial insurance Account Executive.
- A deep understanding of insurance policies, risk management, and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience handling mid-to-large property and casualty accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Must have an active Texas General Lines Property and Casualty License.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Insurance Industry professional designations preferred.
- Association program experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
