Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates, Inc. (BCH) is growing and seeking an Employee Benefits Risk Advisor to partner with mid-sized organizations and deliver strategic, consultative benefits and risk management solutions.
This is a relationship-driven sales role focused on advising business leaders, uncovering new opportunities, and building long-term client partnerships. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your own book of business—supported by the resources, collaboration, and reputation of BCH, one of Texas’ leading independent insurance brokerages.
What You’ll Do
- Build and sustain strong relationships with mid-size employers, acting as their trusted Employee Benefits Risk Manager
- Manage and service an existing book of business while identifying opportunities for growth
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with BCH’s ideal client profile
- Utilize BCH’s proven sales tools, processes, and carrier partnerships to identify, qualify, and close new opportunities
- Meet with prospective and current clients to assess benefit program adequacy and risk management strategies
- Explain and recommend customized employee benefits solutions tailored to each client’s needs
- Clearly explain insurance products, plan options, and risk management resources to decision-makers and executives
- Proactively identify cross-sell opportunities across insurance and risk management solutions
- Ensure smooth and timely renewals while maintaining exceptional client experience
- Collaborate with internal teams and attend sales strategy meetings with carrier partners
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of Employee Benefits experience (mid-to-large group sales experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of employee benefits products, insurance policies, and risk management best practices
- Proven ability to build relationships with executives and key decision-makers
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex insurance placements with accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Intermediate level) and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Active General Lines-Life Accident Health & HMO license (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
- Valid driver’s license
- Insurance designations are a plus
