Middle School Girl's Basketball Coaching Expectations:
- Be fingerprint cleared through Humboldt Unified School District
- Be available for practices and games in the afternoons and evenings
- Maintains a functional, instructional environment
- Demonstrates organization and program management
- Follows directions and procedures of the Athletic Department
- Looks for and acts on opportunities for program development
- Understands basic basketball rules (these will be provided)
- Demonstrates a "for the kids" attitude
- Holds a brief meeting with parents after 1st practice
- Coaches games during the season
- Communicates with athlete's families and athletic director with organized, typed schedules, rosters, and season information
- Inventory, distribute and collect jerseys and equipment
- Reports game results and standings to athletic director
