We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced frozen food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality production while leading teams and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production schedules to meet output, quality, and cost targets
- Lead, train, and manage supervisors, line leads, and production staff
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
- Drive Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor KPIs (OEE, labor efficiency, downtime, waste)
- Partner with Maintenance, QA, and Supply Chain for smooth operations
- Maintain safe operations in cold and frozen environments
Qualifications
- 5 years of Production Management experience in food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team development skills
- Experience with ERP/MES systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Work Environment
- Cold and frozen production areas (–10°F to 40°F)
- Standing/walking for extended periods
- Occasional weekend or off-shift support
