Duties
- Operate collating machines and related equipment to assemble forms accurately according to specifications
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure consistency and correctness
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Handle materials carefully, including loading, unloading, and organizing paper or printed materials using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary
- Assist in packaging finished products securely for shipment while maintaining safety protocols
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred, especially with materials handling or packaging tasks
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating and troubleshooting collating or sewing machines
- Basic sewing skills or experience with sewing machines is a plus for handling specific form assembly tasks
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform quality inspections accurately
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is advantageous
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and efficiency
