Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are safe and operational.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in fleet vehicles
- Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues and recommend repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Ensure all fleet vehicles meet safety standards and regulations
Skills:
- Proficient in heavy lifting for equipment repairs
- Ability to suspend vehicles for inspection and repair work
- Experience with welding for fabrication and repair tasks
- Knowledge of electrical systems in vehicles
- Familiarity with HVAC systems in vehicles
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using power tools for repairs
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Expertise in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Skill in automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately
