Business Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly books, revenues, cash receipts, adjustments, etc.
- Assist in gathering, assembling, organizing, and compiling the pertinent bookkeeping and resident records.
- File bookkeeping records as appropriate and maintain all records as appropriate.
- Explain billing procedures to residents, families, and/or guardians.
- Bill Medicaid/Medicare, family, and other insurance when applicable for appropriate charges.
- Approve or assist in assigning an account code to all invoices.
- Oversee the process of invoice check coding.
- Maintain files on purchase orders, invoices, paid vouchers, cancelled checks, etc.
- Responsibility for staffing, training, supervision, discipline, and schedule for department.
- Participate in facility committees and audits, as needed.

Business Office Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent minimum required.
- Associate degree in a related field highly preferred.
- 2 medical insurance billing experience preferred.
