Athletic Sales Specialist

Shawsheen Coating and Converting is seeking a highly self-motivated, driven, and exceptionally talented Athletic Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in Andover, MA .

The ideal candidate will drive sales growth through strong communication, collaboration, and a proactive, winning mindset. This role focuses on identifying customer needs, providing effective solutions, and building new business through ongoing industry engagement. The Specialist must coordinate across teams to consistently exceed customer expectations and support the organization’s aggressive growth goals with a positive, resourceful attitude.

This role is expressly designed for an individual who demonstrates a clear, active desire to immediately and consistently grow into a full field sales or account management role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Build and manage a strong, proactive sales pipeline.

· Identify, target, and secure new repeat customers.

· Grow revenue by expanding opportunities within existing accounts.

· Conduct high-volume outbound outreach and ongoing prospect engagement.

· Support retail channel strategy and advance private-label opportunities.

· Analyze sales and market data to forecast trends and identify productivity patterns.

· Monitor competitive and third-party data to guide product positioning.

· Prepare clear, actionable sales reports for leadership and team members.

· Generate and qualify leads through inbound follow-up, outbound calls/emails, and event leads while maintaining the CRM.

· Route qualified opportunities to sales executives and close sales to meet or exceed goals.

SCHEDULE: This is an in-office position working 40 hours per week based on business needs. Hours will generally be between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

COMPENSATION: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with knowledge and experience, in addition to aggressive sales incentive plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Business or engineering degree preferred .

· Exceptional customer service skills.

· Proficient in MS Office.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Presentation skills.

· 3 years of sales experience is preferred .

· Knowledge of SalesForce or similar CRM software.

· Ability to solve problems and analyze complex data.

· Must have a strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
