What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPERIENCED** RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR TECHNICIAN position at Bradford Garage Doors, LLC?
We are looking to hire two separate positions. One is a commercial installation position and the other is primarily a service/repair technician position with some residential installations. Applicants must be experienced and proficient in residential or commercial garage door and operator troubleshooting, repair, service, and installation. Applicants must have time management skills, be detail-oriented, and professionally represent themselves and the company at all times. A valid TN driver's license and clean driving record are required to operate company vehicle.
EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, APPLICANTS MUST BE READY TO BEGIN WORKING ON JOB SITES INSTALLING AND/OR REPAIRING ANY OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR ISSUES WITHOUT NEEDING ADDITIONAL TRAINING.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, replace and install overhead door components and operators
- Adhere to all codes, regulations & safety standards
- Ability to manage and complete work orders without supervision
Qualifications:
- Able to troubleshoot, repair and install doors and operators
- Exceptional work ethic
- Strong attendance record
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Background check and drug screening
- At least two years of garage door service/installation experience
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to move items weighing 50-100 lbs. and the ability to climb, reach, bend, kneel, etc. for extended periods
- Operate hand and power tools
- Always operate in a safety conscious manner while performing job duties
