Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled emergency medical and fire response professionals to join our team in the roles of Paramedic, Firefighter, or EMT. This position involves providing critical pre-hospital care and fire suppression services to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. Candidates may be considered for a single-cert paramedic, firefighter paramedic, or firefighter EMT position based on their qualifications and certifications. The role requires a strong commitment to public safety, excellent teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls involving medical incidents, fires, accidents, and other crises.
- Provide advanced life support as a Paramedic or basic emergency medical care as an EMT, including patient assessment, stabilization, and transportation.
- Operate firefighting equipment and apparatus to suppress fires and conduct rescue operations.
- Assist in extricating victims from hazardous environments and provide necessary first aid or advanced medical interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, patient information, and treatments administered.
- Conduct routine inspections of emergency equipment and ensure readiness for immediate deployment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, dispatchers, healthcare providers, and other emergency services to coordinate response efforts.
- Uphold safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards in emergency response activities.
Skills
- Valid certifications as a Paramedic, Firefighter, or EMT appropriate to the position applied for; single-cert paramedic candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures, fire suppression techniques, and rescue operations.
- Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, team members, and the public.
- Physical fitness and stamina necessary for demanding emergency response tasks.

Minimum Requirements
- Current & Active Florida Paramedic, EMT, and/or Firefighter Certification
- Current ACLS/BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- 16-Hour Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC)
