Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating service, ensuring a smooth dining experience from start to finish
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, desserts, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Manage multiple tables effectively by prioritizing tasks, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and attending to guest needs promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas including bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service in a fine dining or casual setting

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems for processing sales transactions
• Proven ability in food service roles with a focus on hospitality, guest relations, and customer service excellence
• Strong knowledge of beer varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity that supports food presentation and handling standards
• Excellent communication skills coupled with basic math proficiency for cash handling and processing payments accurately
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is preferred but not required
